Dr. Rita Khanna

Rita Khanna is a certified senior Yoga instructor from International Sivananda Yoga Ashram. After an intensive training, she was initiated into this discipline about three decades ago by world famous Swami Adhyatmananda of Sivananda Ashram in Rishikesh (India).

She further sharpened her skills in Ahmedabad at Sivananda Ashram under Swami Adhyatmananda Ji and got another Teacher’s training Certificate recognized by Gujarat University. She brings with her a wealth of experience of over 30 years in Yoga, Pranayama, Meditation and Naturopathy and has worked successfully with people challenged with injury, illness, disease and emotional and psychological issues.

Her career includes teaching Yoga at a lot of places in India. Being an Army Officer’s wife, she has traveled extensively through the length and breadth of the country and has done loads of good to the humanity through this noble art. To keep abreast with this science, she has been regularly attending and conducting a lot of Yoga camps, visited a number of Yoga Centers, interacted with various experts in the field and has made in-depth scientific studies about the effects of Yoga on human ailments. She spreads the message that good health is the birthright of every human being and everyone can enjoy a perfect and disease-free life by living in harmony with nature.

  

 


Rita Khanna presently lives in Secunderabad. She has done various TV shows on Yoga and has been featured on channels. Apart from this she has also been featured in print media and her articles have been printed in newspaper and magazines like Times of India, The Indian Express, The Hindu and Femina from time to time. Her articles have also been published every week in USA in Aura Wellness Centre till sometimes back. She has also conducted Stress Management Workshops for Cooperates. Rita believes that Yoga should be taught to young minds. To meet this end, she has been conducted workshops in YMCA every year during summer vacations for children.


Rita Khanna believes that Yoga has had a profoundly positive effect on her life physically, mentally and spiritually and it is her privilege and delight to continue to teach Yoga to people of all levels and abilities.

Her aim is to spread this beautiful gift of Yoga to as many people as possible and lead them on to a healthier and more peaceful lifestyle and finally teach all a system of exercise that fully integrates the body, mind and soul.
